A/E Industrial Environmental Engineering

This contract provides open‑ended, as‑required architectural/engineering (A/E) services for industrial environmental engineering to Fauquier County and its public schools. The scope covers air‑quality studies, asbestos and hazardous‑material surveys, OSHA compliance, site investigations, water‑quality testing, noise and vibration assessments, emergency response, and full project‑management support. Work is performed on a task‑by‑task basis with individual project values ranging from $500 to $150,000, subject to annual purchase‑order limits of $500,000. The contractor is paid on a time‑and‑materials basis using pre‑approved hourly rates and must meet 45‑day invoice payment terms. The agreement includes a 3.4 % price increase effective 10/17/2026 and allows up to four one‑year renewals, the second of which is currently in effect. • Open‑end A/E services for a wide array of industrial environmental engineering tasks. • Individual project values $500–$150,000; annual PO cap $500,000. • Single‑vendor award to Apex Companies, LLC with a 3.4 % price adjustment and optional future renewals.
