MAINTENANCE, REPAIR, AND RESURFACING OF SPORTS COURTS

The contract is for the maintenance, repair, and resurfacing of sports courts in Ocean County, New Jersey. The contract was awarded to Sports & Tennis Construction LLC for a total lump sum of $1,586,250.00. The contract period is from August 7, 2024, to August 6, 2025. The scope of work includes the conversion and resurfacing of tennis courts, maintenance and repair of various types of courts, and resurfacing of portions of courts. The contract requires compliance with specific materials and workmanship standards, including the use of Laykold Masters Colors and adherence to American Sports Builders Association (ASBA) specifications. • The contract includes four line items: conversion and resurfacing of two tennis courts, maintenance and repair of various types of courts, resurfacing of portions of various types of courts, and resurfacing of various types of courts. • The contract requires the successful bidder to apply all resurfacing materials in accordance with the manufacturer's guidelines. • The final topcoat shall be broom finish to meet the specified manufacturer's warranty. • The contract has a minimum curing temperature of 50° degrees and requires work to be completed within thirty (30) business days from the Parks and Recreation Department's Notice to Proceed.
