The Saugstad Urban Rivers Grant Bank Stabilization Project is a grant-funded project aimed at reducing soil sedimentation in the Dry Creek, stabilizing the creek bank, and creating diverse instream and native riparian habitat. The City of Roseville is seeking a 100% design and construction proposal to complete all grant and construction requirements by January 2022. The project is funded primarily through Proposition 1 funds. Some key aspects of the project include:
• Reducing soil sedimentation in the Dry Creek
• Stabilizing the creek bank adjacent to the Chamber of Commerce building, City-owned property, and adjacent private landowners
• Creating diverse instream and native riparian habitat
• Completing all grant and construction requirements by January 2022
The City of Roseville recommends awarding a contract to Habitat Restoration Sciences, Inc. for this project.
