20-51 Architectural, Engineering, Geotechnical, and Surveying Professional Servcies

This contract is for professional architectural, engineering, geotechnical, and surveying services to be provided on an as-needed basis. The services will be performed by WSP USA Environment & Infrastructure Inc. The contract has a term of three years with two optional one-year renewals. The scope of work includes environmental support services, stormwater engineering, and other related services. The contract also outlines the responsibilities of both the County and the Consultant, including the provision of insurance, compliance with laws and regulations, and the handling of public records. Key aspects of the contract include: • The contract is non-exclusive, and the County reserves the right to solicit separate competitive proposals for any and all projects or tasks. • The Consultant will provide services on an as-needed basis, and the County will pay for services rendered in accordance with the Florida Prompt Payment Act. • The contract outlines the process for issuing task orders, modifying task orders, and terminating the contract. • The Consultant is required to maintain certain types of insurance, including general liability, workers' compensation, and professional liability. • The contract includes provisions for auditing and record-keeping, as well as a requirement for the Consultant to comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
