Description
This contract calls for professional exterior window washing and occasional over‑hang ceiling cleaning of the IDOT Hanley Building in Springfield, Illinois. The work is performed twice yearly for windows (spring/summer and fall) and once yearly for the over‑hang, using vendor‑supplied equipment that must meet weight and pressure limits. The vendor must use its own employees (no labor subcontracting), comply with a host of safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements, and provide detailed daily logs and documentation.
• Scope: Clean exterior windows (basement through third floor) twice per year and clean the over‑hang ceiling once per year; no pressure washing on windows, ≤ 1,300 psi allowed on over‑hang.
• Requirements: Vendor‑provided equipment, own labor only, OSHA/ASBESTOS compliance, 3,000 lb weight restriction on patio equipment, daily sign‑in/out, record retention 3‑5 years, insurance minimums, prevailing‑wage adherence where applicable.
• Term: Initial 24‑month period (maximum 10 years overall), with termination for convenience (30‑day notice) and for cause provisions.
