Description
The City of Olathe is seeking to purchase an electrical switchboard and integrated automatic transfer switch for a compressed natural gas fueling station. The switchboard and transfer switch must be prototype tested, factory built, production tested, and site tested. The equipment must comply with the requirements of Buy America. The bid was rejected, and all bids submitted were rejected. The scope of work includes the provision and installation of the service entrance switchboard and integrated automatic transfer switch as specified and shown on related electrical drawings.
• The electrical switchboard and transfer switch must be fully rated Service Entrance equipment.
• The transfer switch must have the number of poles, voltage, and current ratings shown on the plans and specified.
• The equipment must comply with the requirements of Buy America.
• The contractor must provide and install the service entrance switchboard and integrated automatic transfer switch as specified and shown on related electrical drawings.
