Municipal Solid Waste (MSW), Recyclables and Yard Waste Collection and MSW Disposal

The City of Allentown invited qualified proposers to submit proposals for the collection of municipal solid waste, recyclables, and yard waste, as well as the disposal of municipal solid waste. The contract was awarded to Bethlehem Landfill Company. The scope of work includes the collection and delivery of single-stream recycling and yard waste to the City's facility location. • The contract was awarded through a competitive RFP process. • The City of Allentown evaluated the proposals based on the evaluation criteria identified in the RFP. • The award of the contract was approved via resolution by Allentown City Council on July 24, 2024. • The vendor is required to obtain a valid business license and provide the required insurance.
