Continuing Professional Geotechnical Engineering and Materials Test Services

This contract is for continuing professional geotechnical engineering and materials test services, including earthwork, roadway, concrete, and ground/surface water samples. The contract has a term of one year with two optional one-year extensions, and the COUNTY may terminate the contract for convenience or default. The CONSULTANT is required to provide qualified personnel, maintain insurance, and comply with various requirements and regulations. The contract includes a detailed scope of services, deliverables, and payment terms. Some of the key services include: • Drilled Shaft Installation Plan (DSIP) review • Provide CTQP Certified Drilled Shaft Inspector on site during the drilled shaft installation operations • Perform Wave Equation Analysis of Pile Driving (WEAP) to determine suitability of the hammer driving system for the project • Collect ground water samples at all necessary dewatering locations as directed by the COUNTY The contract also includes a table of deliverables, which outlines the specific reports and documents that the CONSULTANT is required to provide to the COUNTY.
