New Refuse Truck (Reissue)

The City of Leesburg invited interested and qualified companies to submit offers for the purchase of a new sideloading refuse truck. The truck was to be used for the manual collection of single stream recyclables in the City's solid waste territory. The budget amount for this purchase was approximately $170,000. However, the solicitation was cancelled due to the City's single stream recycle program being under evaluation and the potential reworking of the program. • The solicitation was cancelled on March 26, 2013. • The City of Leesburg may reissue the solicitation in the future. • The City's intentions regarding this solicitation are to potentially reissue it in the future. • The solicitation responses are exempt from Florida Statute 119.
