UNF Lot 16 Parking Lot Improvements Project

The University of North Florida (UNF) is seeking a qualified contractor to complete milling and resurfacing of the existing pavement of Parking Lot 16 on the UNF campus. The project includes adjustments to the lot layout to add parking spaces, milling and resurfacing of the asphalt, and grading modifications to ensure proper drainage. The contractor must be a Florida Certified General Contractor, Certified Building Contractor, or Certified Utility Contractor. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsible and responsive bidder whose bid meets the requirements and criteria set forth in the Invitation to Bid (ITB). The project is expected to be completed within 60 calendar days of the notice to proceed, with final completion within 30 calendar days of substantial completion. • The contractor must provide all labor, materials, and supervision required to complete the project. • The contractor must comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including those related to public entity crimes. • The contractor must provide a bid bond in the amount of 5% of the bid amount. • The contractor must provide performance and payment bonds for the full amount of the contract. • The contractor must complete the project within the specified time frame and in accordance with the specifications and terms and conditions of the contract.
