Community Development Block Grant and HOME Administrative Consulting Services

The County of Calaveras is seeking professional services to assist in administering and implementing the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) and HOME programs. The selected vendor will provide expertise and experience necessary to meet the requirements of these programs, including reporting and compliance with federal and state laws. The contract duration is up to 5 years, and the County is seeking qualified candidates in various specialty areas, including public services, community facilities, public works, housing, economic development, and planning grants. • The CDBG program provides funds to benefit low-income people, eliminate slums and blight, and meet urgent community development needs. • The HOME program provides funds for housing rehabilitation and homebuyer loans. • The County has a portfolio of 30 loans issued under both HOME and CDBG. • The selected vendor will be responsible for administering and implementing CDBG and HOME activities, including reporting and compliance with federal and state laws. • The County is seeking the most qualified candidate(s) in each of the specialty areas. • The contract award is subject to the terms and conditions of the RFP.
