OIL SPILL KITS

The County of Hawaii issued a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for oil spill kits, but the RFQ was cancelled due to prices exceeding the budgeted amount. The RFQ will be re-quoted. The scope of work includes furnishing and delivering oil spill kits to the Department of Environmental Management Solid Waste Division. The kits should include oil-only pads, oil-only socks, disposal bags, goggles, putty, plugs, and nitrile gloves. • The RFQ was issued on May 2, 2016, and the bid submission date was May 5, 2016. • The County of Hawaii is exempt from federal taxes and the City and County of Honolulu 0.5% General Excise Tax Surcharge. • The delivery location is Environmental Mgmt-Solid Waste, 1651 Ho`olaulima Rd, E. Hi Regional Sort Station, Hilo, HI 96720. • The RFQ includes three items: oil spill kits, shipping, and tax. • The unit price for the oil spill kits should not exceed four decimal places.
