Description
The County of Allegheny has entered into a sole source purchase agreement with Qiagen, Inc. for the provision of reagents and consumables required for the operation of certain equipment. The agreement is for a period of one year, from January 1, 2022, to December 31, 2022, with the option to extend for an additional three months. The estimated cost of the agreement is $82,500. The agreement includes provisions for payment, delivery, and inspection of the products, as well as warranties and indemnification. The County has determined that Qiagen is the sole source of the required products, and the agreement has been approved by the County's Executive Action.
