This contract is a stipulated‑sum demolition project for a damaged wood‑frame structure located at 1575 Robert E Lee Street in Mobile, Alabama. The City of Mobile’s Municipal Enforcement Department solicited sealed‑envelope quotes and awarded the work to AA&A DEMOLITION. The scope includes wet‑method demolition, utility cap‑offs, site clearing, erosion and sediment control BMP installation and maintenance, hazardous material (lead‑based paint and asbestos) handling, documentation, and a final newspaper notice of completion. The contractor must complete the work within 15 calendar days after receiving a Notice to Proceed, and liquidated damages of $250 per day apply for delays beyond the substantial‑completion window.
