City Manager Search

This contract is for a professional services agreement between the City of Cottonwood and Ralph Andersen & Associates to recruit a new City Manager. The scope of work includes developing a comprehensive position profile, conducting an accelerated outreach and advertising campaign, and evaluating candidates. The contract has a fixed fee of $27,750 for recruitment services and all related expenses. The City of Cottonwood is seeking an executive search firm to assist in the search and selection of a City Manager. • The contract is for a period of one year, starting from November 7, 2022, and ending on December 31, 2023. • The contract includes a guarantee that if the City Manager resigns or is dismissed within a one-year period, Ralph Andersen & Associates will conduct another search free of charge. • The contract also includes an option for a community survey, which would be conducted for an additional $3,500. • The City of Cottonwood will be responsible for paying all incurred expenses, including candidate travel. • The contract includes a provision for termination, which can be done by either party with 30 days' written notice.
