Well Drilling Services (Bid BC-18-09)

This contract is for well drilling services, including the installation of soil borings and monitoring wells, as well as the abandonment of existing wells. The contract has a 24-month duration and includes a 12-month renewal option. The services will be provided by G.W.S. Contractors, and the contract is valued at approximately $1.5 million. The key services include: • Installation of soil borings (25' maximum depth) utilizing a hollow stem auger or Geoprobe • Installation of monitoring wells (2" diameter) conforming to NJDEP specifications • Abandonment of existing wells with Portland cement, high-grade bentonite, or cement/bentonite mixture slurry • Repair of manhole covers for monitoring wells • Mobilization/demobilization of equipment due to agency cancellation or postponement of job
