Dump Bodies

The City of Olathe issued an Invitation for Bid (IFB) for the provision of dump bodies and equipment installation onto cab and chassis owned by the city. The contract was awarded to two vendors: American Equipment Co. and Viking-Cives Midwest. The bid tabulation table lists the prices and brands offered by each vendor. The scope of work includes the installation of new single axle dump bodies and elliptical dump bodies onto 2018 International cab and chassis. • The contract includes the installation of one new single axle dump body onto a 2018 International 7500 SBA 37,000 GVWR cab and chassis. • The contract includes the installation of three new elliptical dump bodies onto 2018 International 7500 56,000 GVWR cab and chassis. • The successful bidder is responsible for labor and materials for complete installation of the new bodies and equipment. • The bid submission date was August 9, 2017, at 11:00 AM EDT.
