UGA - Forklift for CAES S. Milledge

The University of Georgia is soliciting qualified bids for a forklift to be used at their CAES' S. Milledge Avenue location. The forklift should meet the specifications outlined in the attached Bid Specifications and Requirements document. The contract will be awarded to the lowest, responsive, and responsible supplier meeting all specifications and with whom the University of Georgia has reached agreement on all contract terms and conditions. • The forklift should be an electric, hydraulic, or pneumatic floor-type lift. • The contract includes all applicable costs for products or services, including any applicable shipping charges FOB Destination to Athens, Georgia. • The University of Georgia encourages all companies to sub-contract portions of any state contract to small and minority business enterprises. • The supplier must not owe taxes to the State of Georgia and must submit a completed Tax Compliance Form. • The contract is valued at more than $100,000, and the supplier must not be a "prohibited source" or have other tax deficiencies.
