Continuing Geotechnical Engineering and Material Testing Services

This contract is for continuing geotechnical engineering and material testing services for Orange County, Florida. The contract has a term of one year with two optional one-year extensions. The estimated construction cost for any project under this contract shall not exceed $4,000,000. The contractor, Terracon Consultants, Inc., shall perform professional engineering services as described in Exhibit A - Scope of Professional Services. The contract includes provisions for payment, changes, termination, and indemnification. • The contract is an indefinite quantity contract, meaning the quantities of goods and/or services are unknown. • The contractor shall maintain insurance coverage, including commercial general liability, business automobile liability, workers' compensation, and professional liability. • The contract includes a waiver of subrogation in favor of Orange County, Florida. • The contractor shall comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including those related to workers' compensation and employment practices. • The contract includes provisions for dispute resolution and termination. • The contractor shall provide a detailed scope of work and cost proposal for each task authorization. • The contract includes provisions for changes to the scope of work and payment terms.
