PRE-DESIGNED & PRE-ENGINEERED METAL BUILDING FOR PUBLIC WORKS

The City of Palm Bay issued a Request for Proposal (RFP) for a pre-designed and pre-engineered metal building for public works. The contractor is responsible for furnishing all necessary labor, materials, licensing, equipment, design, engineered drawings, and services to furnish and erect the building. The proposed cost is a key factor in the evaluation process, with a maximum of 75 points. The contract was awarded to Hi-Tech Construction & Project Management with a base price of $58,552.00. • The building must be designed for a 150 mph wind load rating. • The contractor is responsible for filing for the associated building permit and all permitting responsibilities. • The delivery time is sixty days from the date of purchase order receipt. • The design shall reference the site plans and layouts provided as Attachment A. • The contractor will provide all factory warranty specifications to include factory color options.
