This contract is for environmental abatement services, including asbestos, lead, mold, animal waste, and potentially infectious medical waste removal, to be performed on an as-needed basis. The contractor will provide services on a task order basis, with a total contract value not to exceed $650,000 for the initial one-year term. The contract includes provisions for insurance, indemnification, and termination. The scope of work includes site walk-throughs, estimating, removal, disposal, and remediation of hazardous materials, as well as laboratory testing and analysis. The contractor must comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and standards, including OSHA, EPA, and Illinois state regulations. • Asbestos abatement services, including removal and disposal of asbestos-containing materials • Lead abatement services, including removal and disposal of lead-painted surfaces • Mold remediation services, including isolation, removal, and disposal of mold-contaminated materials • Animal waste remediation services, including removal and disposal of animal excrement and carcasses • Potentially infectious medical waste disposal services, including removal and disposal of PIMW • Laboratory testing and analysis of hazardous materials
