Pepperball

The City of Tucson has entered into a service agreement with United Tactical Systems, LLC, doing business as Pepperball, to provide Pepperball TAC-SA-Pro and Pepperball Powder Projectiles for the Tucson Police Department. The contract has a term of one year, with the option to renew for four additional one-year periods. The City will pay the contractor based on the prices listed in the contract, which include $1,125.00 per Pepperball TAC-SA-Pro Semi Auto, $1,244.00 per 375ct LIVE-X RND/Pepperball LIVE-X PACA Powder projectiles, and $323.00 per 375ct INERT RND Pepperball INERT RND Power Projectiles. The contractor is responsible for delivering the materials within 90 calendar days after receipt of an order. The contract also includes provisions for payment, insurance, and termination. • The contract value is estimated to be around $10,000 to $50,000 per year, depending on the quantity of materials ordered. • The contractor is required to maintain insurance coverage, including commercial general liability, commercial automobile liability, and workers' compensation. • The City has the right to terminate the contract at any time, with or without cause, upon giving 30 days' written notice. • The contractor is responsible for complying with all applicable laws and regulations, including those related to employment verification and non-discrimination.
