Turbocharger Rebuilding and Repair

This contract is for the rebuilding and repair of turbochargers for diesel and natural gas engines used by the City of Tucson. The contractor will provide the necessary services, including disassembly, inspection, repair, and reassembly of the turbochargers. The contract has a term of one year, with the option to renew for four additional one-year periods. The total payment under this contract shall not exceed $100,000. Some key points of this contract include: • The contractor must provide a comprehensive report upon completion, detailing the repairs and parts replaced or refurbished. • The contractor must guarantee compliance with OEM specifications throughout the entire rebuilding process. • The City of Tucson reserves the right to terminate the contract at any time, with or without cause, upon giving thirty days' written notice. • The contractor must obtain insurance coverage, including commercial general liability, commercial automobile liability, and workers' compensation. • The contractor must comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including those related to labor standards and affirmative action.
