SVC-BWALKREP Boardwalk Repair-Nature Trail

The City of Punta Gorda is seeking a contractor to repair the boardwalk/observation deck located next to Fire Station #3. The contractor will be responsible for removing and disposing of damaged material, repairing the boardwalk/observation deck, and reconnecting it to the existing boardwalk/observation deck. The work must be completed prior to October 1, 2011, and the contractor must guarantee all work for a period of one year from the date of final acceptance by the City. • The contractor must hold a current Charlotte County Specialty Carpentry or Marine license, FL Certified Building Contractor License, FL Certified Building Contractor License, FL Certified General Contractor License, or a State of Florida Certified Marine Specialty Contractor. • The contractor must provide a complete scope of work proposed with their response and submit the on-line bid response. • The City will not accept nor consider alternates to the Solicitation Package. • The contract will be a lump sum price contract, and the contractor must determine quantities based on plans, drawings, and field observations. • The contractor must comply with the City's Change Order Policy and guarantee all work for a period of one year from the date of final acceptance by the City.
