DETENTION MATTRESSES

The County of Riverside is seeking a vendor to provide detention mattresses and re-covering services for the Sheriff's department. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder. The vendor will be required to provide mattresses with a Clearsafe 2000 Transparent vinyl cover and offer re-covering services. The estimated annual usage is 1500 mattresses. The contract will allow the Sheriff's department to order mattresses on an as-needed basis. • The contract requires the vendor to provide a Certificate of Liability Insurance and Workmen Compensation Insurance. • The vendor must deliver the mattresses to the Riverside Sheriff's Department, Larry Smith Correctional Facility. • The contract has an option for re-covering services. • The County may award a contract without negotiation, and bidders should submit their lowest pricing initially.
