Notice of Intent to Sole Source: Embraer A-29 Super Tucano aircraft On-Call Support

This sole‑source Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) awards Sierra Nevada Company LLC the responsibility for on‑call ground support of three stored Embraer A‑29 Super Tucano aircraft at Edwards AFB, CA. The contractor must provide all labor, tools, parts, and consumables (except government‑furnished items) to perform leak inspections/repairs, tire replacement, and aircraft towing on an as‑needed basis throughout a three‑year period (one base year with two optional extensions). The effort is limited to non‑recurring, non‑flight‑critical actions and is intended solely to keep the aircraft in safe storage condition. • Perform fuel, hydraulic, or oil leak inspections and minor repairs within 1 business day of a request. • Replace flat or unserviceable tires using government‑furnished spares first; supply equivalent replacements thereafter. • Provide tow‑certified personnel (minimum three) and equipment to relocate aircraft within the installation, responding within 5 business days. • Submit a service‑completion report within 2 business days of each event, documenting parts used, actions taken, and final aircraft status. • Maintain compliance with all safety, environmental, and base‑access requirements throughout the contract term.
