Tennis & Pickleball Program

The Town of Miami Lakes is seeking a program provider to design, develop, and operate a tennis and pickleball program at the Miami Lakes Optimist Park. The program should run year-round and provide professional instruction and activities. The evaluation committee ranked MGT Academy as the top proposer, and it is recommended that the Town Manager award a contract to MGT Academy. The key requirements for the program provider include being certified to operate tennis programs, having successfully operated a tennis and/or pickleball program in the last three years, having staff capable of passing Level 2 Background Checks, and being USTA/USPTA/ITF certified to instruct Youth and Adult Tennis. Some of the key features of the program include: • The program should be designed to provide professional instruction and activities for tennis and pickleball players of all ages and skill levels • The program provider should have experience in operating similar programs and should be able to demonstrate their ability to provide high-quality services • The program should include a variety of activities, such as group and private lessons, clinics, and tournaments • The program provider should be able to provide equipment and supplies as needed • The program should be operated in a safe and secure manner, with adequate supervision and staffing at all times.
