Description
This contract awards the design‑build construction of a landfill gas collection system and associated flare‑station equipment at the Pickles Butte Sanitary Landfill in Nampa, Idaho. The scope includes installation of vertical and horizontal gas‑collection wells, extensive HDPE and PVC piping, manifold and valve assemblies, concrete foundations, a 10 000‑gal condensate storage tank, and anchoring of a pre‑purchased flare stack and compressor skid. The contractor also provides site grading, trenching, road‑crossing sleeves, and a start‑up demonstration period, while the County supplies major mechanical equipment and the electrical work is performed by a separate contractor. The project must be completed and fully operational by the end of 2023, with liquidated damages of $500 per day for any delay beyond that date.
