151st & Mur-Len Geometric Improvements

The City of Olathe, Kansas, Public Works Department, is requesting qualified consulting firms to submit qualifications for the preparation of design documents for the 151st & Mur-Len Geometric Improvements project. The project includes survey of existing conditions, utility coordination, cost estimates, appraised values of properties considered for acquisition, traffic counts, developing construction plans, and coordination with Olathe staff. The contract was awarded to Affinis Corp for $22,729.00. Key aspects of the project include: • Geometric improvements to the intersection of 151st and Mur-Len • Possible closure and/or relocation of private/commercial drives • Replacement of the existing outdated traffic signal to tie in to the ATMS • Survey of existing conditions and utility coordination • Cost estimates and appraised values of properties considered for acquisition
