TRASH TRAILERS

The City of Mobile’s Purchasing Department issued a sealed “all‑or‑none” bid (Bid #5740) for the purchase of 18‑ft hydraulic dump trash trailers for its Motor Pool. Vendors must supply a minimum of six units (up to ten) that meet detailed mechanical, safety, and paint‑color specifications, provide two sets of parts manuals per unit, and submit a 5 % bid bond. The contract period is six months with two optional six‑month extensions, and contracts exceeding $50 k must include at least 15 % performance by socially/economically disadvantaged individuals.
