3MG Storage Tank Rehabilitation Project

The 3MG storage tank is a painted steel water storage tank that was constructed in 1962 and is in need of rehabilitation. This project will hire a consultant to generate project specifications and bid documents as well as provide construction oversight. The bulk of the work will be the prep and installation of a new coating system on the interior and exterior of the tank as well as other minor improvements needed. Key points of this contract include: • The project was awarded to Utility Service Co, Inc in the amount of $1,359,000.00 • The bid was opened on March 7th, 2025 • The project is being managed by the City of Keene's Public Works department • The funding for the project is certified by the Finance Director and is available in the amount of $2,367,037.84
