GRAVITY SEWER LINE - NEW TESTAMENT MISSION

The City of Sebring has awarded a contract to Excavation Point Inc for the replacement of the gravity sewer line at the New Testament Mission. The project involves the installation of a new 6-inch PVC gravity sewer pipe under the Sebring Parkway and an 8-inch PVC gravity sewer line from the Sebring Parkway to the existing manhole on Peach Street. The contractor is responsible for taking field measurements, determining the work and materials required, and reconnecting the existing gravity sewer services to the eastern manhole. The project also includes the setup and maintenance of a "Maintenance of Traffic" plan and the supply of flashing barriers, cones, concrete barriers, and signs. • The project is located in Sebring, Florida • The contract was awarded on July 2, 2014 • The contractor is responsible for notifying the Florida One Call system to locate and verify the location of all existing utilities prior to construction • The contractor is responsible for having the utilities located on the site and taking necessary precautions to avoid any disturbance of existing utilities • The project includes two new concrete manholes and the reconnection of the existing gravity sewer services to the eastern manhole • The roadway repair warranty period shall be 36 months
