Acceptance and Recycling of the City of Allentown's Scrap Metal

The City of Allentown is seeking a vendor to accept and recycle various types of scrap metal from the city's recycling drop-off center and other facilities. The vendor will be required to provide a state-certified scale to weigh the scrap metal and will be paid based on a percentage of the consumer buying price for the specified metal category. The contract includes the acceptance of mixed scrap metal, aluminum cans, steel cans, brass, copper, aluminum, scrap vehicles, and other metals.
