Large Diameter Rehabilitation Program Broad Street Area and Gully Brook Interceptor

The Metropolitan District awarded a contract to Insituform Technologies for the Large Diameter Rehabilitation Program covering the Broad Street area and the Gully Brook interceptor in Hartford, Connecticut. The scope includes extensive trenchless rehabilitation of over 14,000 linear feet of sewer main using Cured‑In‑Place Pipe (CIPP) lining, CCTV inspections, reconnection of more than 480 active service laterals, installation of new precast concrete manholes, monolithic cementitious lining of existing manholes, and replacement of manhole components. The work requires full compliance with Connecticut DAS pre‑qualification requirements and a 10 % bid security.
