Widening and Rehabilitation of County Road 13 and Resurfacing Knox Jones Ave, Railroad Street and Lincoln Ave

This contract is for the widening and rehabilitation of County Road 13 and resurfacing of Knox Jones Ave, Railroad Street, and Lincoln Ave. The project includes mobilization, maintenance of traffic, control and abatement of erosion and water pollution, clearing and grubbing, grading, excavation and embankment, extension and desilting of drainage structures, and other related items. The contract was awarded to Halifax Paving in the amount of $2,374,043.88. • The project is approximately 3.1 miles long and includes the widening of County Road 13 to 11-foot wide travel lanes and the addition of 4-foot wide paved and 4-foot wide unpaved shoulders. • The project also includes the resurfacing of the existing pavement on Railroad Street, Lincoln Avenue, and Knox Jones Avenue. • The contract requires the contractor to be prequalified by the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT). • The project must be completed in accordance with the Contract Documents and must be fully compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
