Description
This contract awards a comprehensive civil‑construction effort to replace and expand the gravity‑sewer system for the Wakulla Gardens development, split into Phase V (east side) and Phase VII (west side). The work includes excavation, installation of approximately 14,429 linear feet of 8‑inch PVC gravity pipe, construction of 60 new precast manholes, two new duplex lift stations (with a third pump added to the master lift station), over 3,000 linear feet of force‑main, septic‑tank demolitions, plumbing connections for existing and vacant parcels, and full roadway restoration and drainage improvements. The project is funded by federal and state grants and is to be performed on a firm‑fixed‑price (lump‑sum) basis, with a 335‑day substantial‑completion deadline and liquidated damages for delays.
