Description
This contract is for the rehabilitation of Bridge 03.23 over the Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad and the complete replacement of Bridge 03.32 over the Cuyahoga River on Rockside Road (C.R.53) in the Village of Valley View and City of Independence, Ohio. The scope includes furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, and related services to perform the work in accordance with plans and specifications prepared by the Cuyahoga County Department of Public Works. The project is budgeted at approximately $21.7 million and must be completed by December 31 2027. Bids were accepted through the Cuyahoga County Supplier Portal or in‑person at the Department of Purchasing, with a bid deadline of April 30 2025. Only ODOT‑prequalified contractors are eligible, and a 10 % cash/letter‑of‑credit guaranty or 100 % bid bond is required. The contract will be awarded by Cuyahoga County.
