Description
The City of Wilmington is seeking a qualified contractor to remove 11 trees and/or stumps located on South 3rd Street public right‑of‑way and perform associated site restoration. The contractor must grind stumps to a 24‑inch depth, back‑fill and compact the holes, protect all underground utilities, manage traffic control (funded by NCDOT), and remove all debris daily. Work must be completed within 60 days of contract start, adhering to OSHA and local safety standards, and be fully documented for City inspection.
• Remove each tree in its entirety (roots, limbs, leaves, fruit).
• Grind each stump to 24 inches depth within a 6‑foot radius, back‑fill with generated material and compact.
• Protect utilities (contact NC 811) and ensure daily debris removal; provide weekly progress reports.
