Description
The Orange County Fire Authority is seeking product demonstrations of non-fluorinated firefighter turnout ensembles. The purpose of this solicitation is to obtain information on non-fluorinated personal protective equipment currently available. Suppliers are permitted and encouraged to submit information for more than one brand of turnout. The key aspects of this opportunity include:
• Product demonstrations of non-fluorinated turnout ensemble components
• Submission of product information and samples for review
• Compliance with the rules and terms defined in the solicitation
• No pricing information should be included with the product information
• Suppliers must provide information and conduct communications through the OCFA Purchasing division
• The review panel will schedule product demonstrations to further understand the provided information
• Suppliers must be the manufacturer or an authorized distributor of the product(s) submitted
• Suppliers must be available to provide a sample for product demonstration within a mutually agreed upon time frame at no cost to OCFA
