GE XR656 X-Ray System Repair

The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking sources for the repair and replacement of the inverter and high voltage tank of the GE XR656 fixed room X-ray system at the Marion VA Medical Center. The scope of work includes supplying and installing new parts, disposing of old parts, and providing repair services. The contractor must meet manufacturers' performance and technical specifications, Federal Regulations, and other applicable specifications. • The contractor must supply and install a new inverter compatible with the GE XR656 X-ray system. • The contractor must supply and install a new high voltage tank compatible with the GE XR656 X-ray system. • The contractor must provide repair services, including installation of new parts and disposal of old parts. • The contractor must report to Biomedical Engineering prior to performance of service and provide a service report when work is complete. • The contractor must use "Universal Precautions" during cleaning and maintenance/repair procedures.
