Description
The Walker County Purchasing Department is seeking bids for the installation and transfer of a diesel generator. The project includes disconnecting, removing, and transferring an existing Kohler Diesel generator along with its annunciator panel and all appurtenances from a current Walker County building location to another Walker County building location. The contractor will be responsible for providing all necessary materials, accessories, and labor to provide a standby power system that will automatically start and transfer from normal power to standby power upon a power failure. The project also includes installation of a raised steel or aluminum platform, an appropriately sized transfer switch, and fencing with a locking gate.
