The City of Syracuse Industrial Development Agency (SIDA) is seeking proposals for qualified environmental professional services to conduct site investigation, planning, cleanup and marketing activities for targeted brownfield sites located on Syracuse's near Eastside. SIDA was awarded a $800,000 multi-purpose grant from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Brownfields Program and will use the grant to hire a consultant or team of consultants to perform activities related to site planning and assessment, cleanup planning and remediation, community engagement and outreach, site marketing, and reporting for the following sites (collectively referred to as the "Subject Target Site"):

The goals of the project are to support the reshoring of manufacturing and its associated logistics and supply chain needs across the region, particularly with the high-tech semiconductor manufacturing industry, by attracting a manufacturer to the Subject Target Site.
