Serpent LPU

The US Navy intends to procure 200 Life Preserver Units, specifically the Serpent LPU Part Number S-9510-1, to support the qualification and testing activities of the Survival Vest System Improvement program. This procurement will be solicited as a sole source to Switlik Parachute Company, the original equipment manufacturer and the only known source capable of providing the specified LPU assets. • The procurement is for a proprietary item, and no other suppliers are authorized or able to meet the Government's technical and performance requirements. • Interested parties may identify their interest and capability by responding to the requirement with a capability statement. • The Government will consider all information received prior to the closing date of this synopsis to determine whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
