Landscaping Maintenance of US Hwy 98 from Mack Bayou Rd. to W. County Hwy 30A

The Walton County Board of County Commissioners is seeking bids for landscaping maintenance services along US Hwy 98 from Mack Bayou Rd to County Hwy 30A West. The contract term is two years with the option to renew for up to two additional one-year periods. The contractor will be responsible for maintaining the existing landscaping, including mowing, string trimming, edging, and litter removal. The contractor must also provide all necessary labor, equipment, and materials to perform the services. • The service area includes all designated County-maintained right-of-way areas, including roadside grass, shoulders, drainage ditches, sidewalks, and shared-use paths. • The contractor must maintain the corridor to the County's standards, including keeping grass uniformly maintained, preventing excessive weeds, and ensuring sidewalks are clean and free of debris. • The contractor will be paid on a flat monthly basis, with the option for additional services to be requested by the County. • The contractor must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations, including FDOT Maintenance of Traffic requirements and OSHA regulations.
