Description
The Iowa Central Community College is seeking a Construction Manager at-Risk (CMaR) for the renovation of an existing campus building located at their East Campus and re-roofing of an existing building on their main campus. The project includes interior renovations of approximately 4,000 SF of the SE end of the existing building and exterior renovations of another portion. The CMaR will be chosen using a two-step solicitation process and selected based on "best value". The key aspects of the project are:
• Renovation of approximately 4,000 SF of the existing building
• Exterior renovations, including removal and installation of new siding and roofing
• Construction is anticipated to commence in August 2024 and be substantially complete by November 2024
• The CMaR will be responsible for providing proposed fees for the project
• The selection criteria include projects of similar size and scope, past performance, safety record, proposed personnel, proposed methodology, and responsiveness to the owner.
