Description
The West Virginia Parkways Authority is seeking a supplier to provide and deliver a total of 9,500 tons of sodium chloride (roadway salt) to maintenance facilities across Kanawha, Raleigh, and Mercer Counties. The contract will be awarded on a county‑by‑county basis (three separate contracts) and will run through June 30 2023, with the possibility of two one‑year extensions. Bidders must submit sealed proposals with a bid security of 5 % of the proposal amount or $2,000 (whichever is greater) and must certify compliance with EEO and BEP eligibility rules. Minority‑ and women‑owned businesses are encouraged to apply.
• Supply and deliver 2,000 tons to Kanawha County, 6,500 tons to Raleigh County, and 1,000 tons to Mercer County.
