Single Source- Modification of Design Documents for Walnut Grove Widening from Rocky Road to Houston Levee Road

The Shelby County Government is seeking a single source vendor to modify design documents for the Walnut Grove Widening project from Rocky Road to Houston Levee Road. The scope of work includes redesigning the storm sewer system, adding ROW calls for all easements, developing metes and bounds descriptions, preparing a design exception packet, updating plans and permits, and investigating NEPA CE documentation updates. Interested parties are invited to submit a letter of interest and pricing via email to the procurement contact. The services are to be rendered by December 31, 2026. • Redesign of storm sewer system to conform to new TDOT requirements • Addition of ROW calls for all easements as per new TDOT requirements • Development of metes and bounds descriptions for all easements • Preparation of a design exception packet for submission to TDOT • Updating plans and utilizing extensive TDOT checklists for plans • Investigations into NEPA CE documentation updates • Updating permits and SWPPP documents • Obtain traffic counts at the intersection of Walnut Grove and Houston Levee and updating signal timing • Updating traffic signal design to new standards • Updating surveys based on current conditions and a defined allowance for some future updates • Revising plans to reflect the use of the roadway typical section contained in the approved NEPA document
