Jefferson Boulevard West of Lincoln Boulevard Emergency K-Rail

The City of Los Angeles is seeking bids for the installation of approximately 1,020 linear feet of connected K-rail along Jefferson Boulevard west of Lincoln Boulevard. The project includes the installation of crash cushions per Caltrans standard plan and requires the K-rail to be painted white and connected and staked per the project plans. The contractor must have immediate availability of supplies, personnel, and equipment for mobilization within one business day of the Notice to Proceed. The bid documents are available on the CLA Regional Alliance Marketplace for Procurement website. • The project is considered emergency response work and is subject to applicable contract terms. • The contractor must keep at least one east-bound lane of traffic open during installation. • The project plans and specifications were prepared by the City of Los Angeles, Department of Transportation and Bureau of Engineering’s Geotechnical Engineering Division. • Funding for the project is available from LADOT. • The City Engineer's estimate for the project is $171,800.00.
