Description
The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet is seeking bids for the provision of high-visibility hard hats. The hats must meet specific requirements, including being hi-visibility lime green in color, having a retro-reflective striping, and meeting OSHA and ANSI Z89.1-2009 TYPE 1, CLASS E and G requirements. The contract will be for an initial period of one year, with the option to extend for four additional one-year periods. The successful bidder will be required to provide a sample of the hard hats for approval before award.
• The hard hats must be new and of the latest or current model year.
• The hard hats must be in first-class condition.
• The bidder must provide a certificate of authority to transact business in the Commonwealth of Kentucky, if applicable.
• The bidder must comply with all applicable statutes, regulations, and policies related to this procurement.
• The bidder must provide a report showing volume sold to the Commonwealth and its using agencies each six months of the contract period.
