Intent to Sole Source - Arjo Flojac Units

The National Institute of Health, Clinical Center (NIH-CC) intends to negotiate with ARJO, Inc. for the provision of Arjo Flojac Units, a medical lift device used by nursing staff to safely lift patients. The device inflates to lift a patient gradually off the floor, reduces the risk of injury to caregivers, and supports a 500 lb. capacity. Key features of the device include: • Inflates to lift a patient gradually off the floor • Reduces risk of injury to caregivers • Supports 500 lb. capacity • Is commonly used in hospitals Interested parties may submit a capability statement to be considered by the Government.
